Town & Country Properties and Turpin Real Estate Announce Merger
Two independent brokerages join forces, bringing additional services to home buyers and sellers in the Chatham, NJ residential real estate market and beyond
January 30, 2018, Chatham, NJ: Today Turpin Real Estate and Town & Country Properties announced that they are joining forces. The combination of these two firms, both leading independent brokers in the New Jersey residential real estate market, will bring increased resources to home buyers and sellers across the north-central part of the state.
Town & Country has been a force in the Chatham and Madison real estate markets since the company was first formed by a group of top agents fifteen years ago. Turpin has approximately 100 agents across five offices in Bernardsville, Far Hills, Mendham, Oldwick and Chatham, plus relocation, title and referral services. Turpin Real Estate, founded in 1960, is now in its third generation of family operation with John Turpin serving as president and broker of record, a position he will retain after the merger.
Town & Country Properties founders Nancy Cook, Pamela Fairley, Deborah Hennessy, Marjorie Tompkins and Barbara Veeder, along with T&C associates, will join the existing Turpin sales team in their historic building at 186 Main Street in Chatham. Veeder will assume the role of branch manager for Turpin’s Chatham office.
