On Saturday, September 28, St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Mendham presents An Evening of Wine and Paella from 6 to 9pm. Join old and new friends during this festive evening which includes a walk-around tasting. Proceeds will support the mission and ministries of the church, which includes the Good Shepherd Home for children orphaned by the AIDS epidemic in the Cameroon, West Africa.

A variety of wine tastings specially chosen to complement the paella will be featured, and the paella is being prepared in the traditional pan over a fire right on the front lawn of the Church. The paella is sponsored by The Cottage School, an independent community for children in grades PreK-8, with locations at St. Mark’s and in Peapack.

Suggested donation is $50 per person, and there will also be a silent auction, wine pull and live auction of services.  Tickets are on sale at stmarksmendham.org. or by clicking on the link provided below.  St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is located in the center of the historic district of Mendham, and its sanctuary features Carpenter-Gothic style architecture typical of the nineteenth century.  The church is located at 9 East Main Street in Mendham.
