Enjoy an early evening of lively Celtic music while benefiting a good cause at a concert supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. A Celtic Christmas fundraiser will be held on Saturday, December 9th at 5:00 PM in St. Bernard’s Episcopal Church in Bernardsville. The music of seven Celtic nations will be celebrated by a group of musicians including James D. Hicks (Scottish small pipes, keyboards), Jeff Ausfahl (banjo, guitar, tenor), Jan Ausfahl (whistle, percussion), Hanfang Zhang (violin), Deborah Fallon (soprano), Bonnie Hicks (soprano), and Scott Gothe (baritone). These performers will interpret instrumental and vocal music of the holiday season from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Brittany, Galicia, Cornwall and the Isle of Man. The program features diverse folk music from these regions, all performed on instruments associated with their traditions. St. Bernard's Episcopal Church is located in the heart of Bernardsville at 88 Claremont Road. Entrance to the concert is a $20 tax-deductible donation.
