Architectural historian Janet W. Foster will present “New Jersey Architecture: Five Centuries in One Hour” at the Chester Library on Thursday, September 12 at 7 pm.
This fast and fun lecture features highlights of five centuries of buildings in New Jersey. Learn about the wide variety of architectural styles, materials, and techniques that characterize different eras as found throughout New Jersey. The one hour talk will be followed by 15 minutes for questions.
Janet W. Foster is an architectural historian and historic preservation consultant with over 30 years of experience with New Jersey’s buildings. She is a noted teacher and lecturer on historic architecture and has published numerous articles and books.
